We are unable to sponsor at this time Primary Job Responsibilities: • Work with business users to gather and develop requirements and translate them into specifications for development. • Collaborate with other departments and end users in order to understand and resolve production issues. • Design, code, unit test and debug reusable code. • Write, debug and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures in database systems • Work with implementation teams to ensure smooth deployments for technical solutions. • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) on supported Enterprise solutions • Document development, testing and resolution of issues with lifecycle tracking software. • Review code, queries and scripts for accuracy and performance implications. • Develop and maintain functional, technical and end user documentation • Share knowledge with others to improve skills and enhance the development environment. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience. • 5 years of experience in IT. • Solid working knowledge of C# fundamentals as well as related tools and frameworks. • Azure development experience. • MVC, REST, ASP.Net Web Forms and ADO.Net. • Minimum 3 years of coding experience using C#.Net. • Minimum 3 years of Sybase, SQL Server or other RDMS experience. • Working knowledge of web services, WCF, WebAPI. • Knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML. • Knowledge of software development patterns. • Ability to learn new program languages and development frameworks. • Ability to analyze complex problems and identify appropriate solutions. • Ability to estimate tasks and write technical documentation. • Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple projects and with customers and team members. • Ability to effectively function as a team player. • Ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple tasks. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Desired: • Experience porting web applications to Azure • Knowledge of AngularJS, Bootstrap • Knowledge of Entity Framework • Ability to write unit tests • Financial industry knowledge Additional Information: Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: Direct Hire - U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
