.NET Application Architect/Sr. Developer with MS Azure

CANDIDATES MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US ON A W2 BASIS WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP OR VISA TRANSFER.

We are looking for a brilliant and driven .NET Application Architect/Sr Developer to join our client’s robust, growing business.  This role will design, develop, and implement applications, and interfaces for solutions to meet the most critical and/or complex requirements in the technology space which spans horizontally across business domains (e.g. user interfaces, messaging/middleware, caching, persistence, etc.) to all levels across the organization. Provides technical oversight to design, development, and testing activities.  Ensures that applications are reliable, scalable and secure. Designs the overall eco-system and offers standardization for the application development environment, providing strategic coordination as well as tactical governance. In addition, they make significant contributions by drafting key elements of application architecture and act as a thought leader across the organization.

?Core Responsibilities

·         Establish and maintain an integrated architectural framework across the firm’s application environment to ensure application, information and infrastructure integration work effectively and efficiently, enhancing security, reliability and availability and is scalable to growth of the business.

·         Recommends overall technical models, procedures and processes for the future.

·         Understand aspects in application design and provide a solution to optimize performance, scalability, etc.

·         Builds out technical proof of concepts.

·         Provides design and development of applications.

·         Leads and mentor’s developers.

·         Stays current with methodologies and tools.

·         Develops and guides developers to establish coding standards, source control, scalability, testing processes, etc.

·         Works with IT management to create enterprise architecture in alignment with current needs and future plans.

·         Identify gaps or underperforming elements in the enterprise application space.

·         Researches, documents and maintains the existing and future application architecture.

·         Ensures proper governance is followed for projects/initiatives, including adherence to IT policies, procedures, and processes that have been approved.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

·         Confident with SDLC and proven participation with Agile Scrum Methodology.

·         Strong development lead supporting MS .NET and Azure Stacks.

·         Solid work with SQL Server with T-SQL.

·         Expertise with Microsoft Visual Studio, 2013/2015/2017, TFS, SQL Management Studio, IIS.

·         Expert level experience with C#, Web API, Entity Framework, MVC, ASP.Net 4.x and 5, ASP.NET WebForms as well as HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular.

·         Proven ability oversee testing to include Load, UAT and Integration.

·         History of guiding technology organizations through changing business environments.

·         Strong logic and problem-solving skills.

·         Strong desire to establish and uphold best practices and ability to manage and review development standards.

·         BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent work experience required.
