Enterprise Cloud Foundry Program Manager

Omaha, NE

 

CSS Staffing has an open position with our direct client for an Enterprise Cloud Foundry Program Manager with experience leading enterprise application transformation efforts across the organization; ensuring alignment with defined engineering best practices as it relates to the secure adoption of and migration to cloud related technologies (Pivotal Cloud Foundry).

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, execution and delivery of projects across multiple teams, i.e. break down complex business requirements into manageable projects, solve complex technical problems, interface with multiple teams, and deliver solutions in a successful, agile and timely manner
  • Define priorities and establish program standards to ensure quality of program deliverables
  • Provide program status information on a regular basis by tracking monitoring and communicating progress against the program plan requirements quality measures procedures and milestones
  • Work with program leadership to ensure program success
  • Create and maintain all documents contained in the program management plan including issues/risks log and program change requests to manage program-level scope schedule and budget
  • Establish and manage key stakeholder relationships to ensure that key decision makers are involved in the appropriate aspects of the program and to the appropriate degree
  • Own communication for technical delivery across these projects with senior leadership and across partner organizations
  • Anticipate bottlenecks and balance business needs versus technical constraints to move these projects forward quickly
  • Manage resource allocation for all projects across all technical teams and keep the overall roadmap balanced
  • Deliver a quality program on time and within budget

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Prior experience in leading programs leveraging agile methodologies across multiple geographies and delivering end-to-end software development projects (preferably using a cloud environment)
  • Familiarity with agile software development concepts and processes (e.g. scrum Kanban, etc.)
  • Extensive experience with release planning change management status reporting dependency management technical impediment resolution issue/risk management financial management, etc.
  • Knowledge of technology concepts strategies methodologies and architectures pertaining to cloud based development and build out
  • Experience in fostering cross-functional collaboration between business and IT teams
  • Proven ability to manage teams and delegate authority
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills including the ability to negotiate adequate resources (e.g. schedule budget staffing tools facilities, etc.).
  • Critical thinking and decision making skills
  •   8+ years’ experience in program management delivering complex enterprise programs and deployment & management of applications in the cloud
  • Problem solving and analysis of situations or data that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple, complex factors and significant use of judgment
  • Working with teams at all levels - working group (dev teams), work stream leads and owners (Directors and VPs) and country and executive steering and sponsors
  •  Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and Dojo desired
  • BA Computer related field

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Assignment Length: 6-12 month contract with extension likely
