Cisco Unified Communications Analyst

Omaha, NE

 

CSS Staffing has an open position with our direct local client for a Cisco Unified Communications Analyst with 3+ years of experience supporting this platform.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist with updates and upgrades of the Cisco UC environment
  • Implement Cisco UC best practices
  • Perform add/change/deletes for the Cisco phones when requested
  • Perform miscellaneous phone tasks as identified

·         Log and respond to incident and service request cases, interacting with the service customer in person or by phone, e-mail or instant messaging

·         Diagnose the nature of an incident. If, within the individual analyst’s scope and skill level, restore service to individual as quickly as possible

·         Work closely with suppliers to clarify responsibilities and dependencies, deliver services and resolve issues

·         Document support configurations, standards, processes and procedures, and guidelines for incident management

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

·         3 years Cisco Unified Communications and Call Manager administration

·         Experience with Route Lists, Patterns, Hunt Groups and Global Directory administration

·         Knowledge of basic telephony principals and VOIP protocols

·         2 year college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent work experience

 

Desired:

·         4 years local (LAN) and wide (WAN) area network management

·         Experience with network security, QoS implementation and troubleshooting

·         Experience with PowerShell

 

Additional Information:

·         Start Date: ASAP

·         Assignment Length: 6 month contract with option to hire
