Paralegal III

CSS Staffing has an immediate opening with our direct global client for a Paralegal III
to support to State Regulatory Licensing processing and support, including renewals, state reporting, filing, and other administrative tasks.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate prudential state reporting and license renewals including the preparation of state license renewal forms and all required state reporting
• Prepare state regulatory monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual state reports
• Source and coordinate required data for renewal and reports including updated officer and director information, executive fingerprints, notarized signatures, resumes, financial information, and other corporate material, required bonds and registrations
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to source data and other requirements to fulfill reporting demands (call reports, transaction data, and complaint information)
• Maintain state regulatory compliance licensing program and reporting physical and electronic files
• Ensure website license listing is up-to-date
• Maintain consumer complaint files
• Manage state complaint process (sending to appropriate individuals for resolution)
• Maintain, file and direct mail
• Convert paper files to electronic files
• Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks and projects
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• 5-7+ years of experience Degrees or Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree (Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience preferred)
• Ability to manage a variety of assignments and projects at the same time
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
• Proficient in regulatory filings through BSA Filing System
• Experience in maintaining license programs for the financial services industry
• Experience in financial reporting and/or the preparation of state regulatory reports for a payments company or financial services industry, a lot of calendaring
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Desired skills:
• Notary Public designation
