Jr. Mid-level .Net or Java Developer

Omaha, NE

Direct hire - Candidates must be eligible to work in the US on a W2 basis without sponsorship or visa transfer

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in development of new programs. This includes preliminary design and writing of the program code as well as any necessary debugging and/or testing.
  • Develop and maintain Progress 4GL character-based programs based on requests for programming enhancements/changes/modifications from ERP Users, Management, and Programming Manager.
  • Troubleshoot program bugs based on information provided by users and/or management

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • 3+ year’s business application programming
  • Basic understanding of distribution business functionality and business logic programming with regards to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory Management, Order Processing, etc.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Character-based programming
  • Linux/Unix
  • XML
  • Business logic programming with regards to Inventory, A/R, Warehouse, Finance
  • Experience with Java, .NET or similar languages
  • SQL-Server and/or Oracle DB
  • Supply chain/manufacturing industry experience
