SharePoint Developer
Omaha, NE
Contract to hire - Candidates must be eligible to work in the US on a W2 basis without sponsorship or visa transfer
CSS Staffing has an open position for a contract to hire opportunity with our direct local client for a SharePoint Developer. If you have proven experience with both administration and development within SharePoint 2013 and 2016 and you have good collaboration and communication skills, this may be your next employment opportunity. Our client is a dynamic and energetic leader in their industry and is looking for the right person to assist their BI Team.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain SharePoint 2013 server environment
- Collaborates with the Solutions Architect and Technical Lead
- Collaboration with Delivery Manager to ensure a strategic roadmap is in place
- Collaboration with Business Units to understand issues and resolve in a timely manner
- Provide 24x7 critical incident response and resolution
- Utilize debugging skills to support production issues
- Provides on-call support
- Provides regular updates on work progress
- Manages system security, system patching and upgrades
- Configures and document SharePoint services and settings
- Manages site quotas and reviews usage reports
- Manages content databases and creating new ones as required
- Consult with users on best practices for setting up and managing a SharePoint site
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in SharePoint 2013 and 2016
- Experience managing a SharePoint server environment
- Experience creating SharePoint forms and workflows
- Experience with scripting tools; ex PowerShell
- Ability to quickly pick up new technologies, almost as they are available to users
- Knowledge of Infrastructure monitoring technologies
- Incident management experience
- Adaptability and ability to introduce and manage change
- Performance and metrics-driven decision making
- Demonstrates commitment to teamwork by fostering an environment that embodies trust and respect
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desired
- Understanding of networking, firewalls, security zones and encryption
- Knowledgeable in the Office 365 suite
- .Net, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML, SharePoint Client-Side Object Model (CSOM) programming
- Previous experience in SharePoint migration from 2013 to 2016 or O365
- Experience with other collaboration tools like eGain, Jira, and Confluence
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years in Information Technology
- 3 years of SharePoint administration and infrastructure experience
