Business Analyst

Omaha, NE

 

Contract to hire - candidates must be eligible to work in the US on a W2 basis without sponsorship or visa transfer

 

PMO leader needed to manage and prioritize project requests and create detailed business requirements. You will use an automated project request system to receive project ideas and perform a high level assessment of effort and cost requirements.  Once feasibility is determined you will manage each projects priority. Core Responsibilities:

·         Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research as well as utilize your understanding of the applicable business systems and industry requirements

·         Collaborate with internal departments and external resources to translate business needs to technical requirements and designs, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements

·         Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments to align information technology solutions with business initiatives

·         Translate high-level business requirements to functional specifications for IT and manage changes to those specifications

·         Analyze and evaluate existing and/or proposed systems

·         Create detailed business requirements and other documents in support of projects

·         Create proposal outlines and response templates based on RFP

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

·         3+ years of relevant experience

·         Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Ability to work independently and in a team environment

·         Communication skills to interact with vendors, partners, customers, and corporate management

·         Problem solving, organization and time management skills to balance and prioritize work

·         An understanding of the entire proposal life cycle, including color team reviews, editing, as well as proposal writing, coordination, desk top publishing and production

·         The ability to understand highly technical concepts and articulate them to a vast range of audiences both in written and verbal formats

 

Desired:

·         Understanding of the Government contracting and procurement process

·         Knowledge of government solicitation documents, including standard RFP structure

·         Oracle, Cloud Services (AWS, FileBound), Google Collaboration, SalesForce

·         Knowledge of the PMBOK - Project Management Institute Project Management Body of Knowledge

·         Bachelors Degree
