IT C#.Net Product Support Analyst 

Omaha, NE

 

Omaha client is seeking an IT Product Support Analyst to support the business and provide support for help-desk tickets using C# in an MVC environment to support production applications.  Additional responsibilities are to include the creation and maintenance of documentation and issue tracking.  

 

Direct hire - Candidates must be eligible to work in the US on a W2 basis without sponsorship or visa transfer

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates and tests new or modified software applications to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines
  • Review and coordinate unit testing of new enhancements, bug fixes and applications 
  • Review and resolve new or existing Help Central tickets, including update the resolution documentation 
  • Monitor and detect program and system performance errors and documents defect tracking
  • May review operating logs to identify program processing errors
  • May develop resolution SQL scripts to resolve production data issues or reporting needs

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field and/or 2 years equivalent job experience preferred
  • Development and/or formal training in .NET, MVC and T-SQL preferred
  • Detailed knowledge of Securities America operational best practices, procedures and tools preferred
  • Understanding of software unit testing and integration tools preferred 
  • Ability to execute database queries to validate field and table data using SQL or similar tools required
  • Self-starter with ability to perform production support duties with little supervision required
  • Solid experience working with Securities America tools and tool suites (NBS, MIPS, PRIME, Vault, and NBS Support Tools)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and other employees
  • Experience in cross-functional relationship management and in working with development and other technical teams
