Enterprise Architect with Security

Omaha, NE

 

Direct hire - candidates must be eligible to work in the US on a W2 basis without sponsorship or visa transfer

 

 Responsible for providing guidance and leadership for all technical aspects of client’s Systems Development division and Product Development.  Work with the Systems Development Leadership Team and Executive Management establishing and leading technological strategies and resources. Collaborate with technical and non-technical partners throughout the organization and industry to develop a vision and plans that account for and guide future Product Development, Information Technology, and Cybersecurity efforts.

 

Core Responsibilities:

·         Establish technical vision and provide technical leadership to ongoing and future development efforts

·         Engage with Architects, Engineers, Product Managers, and others to unify technology strategies, advance automation efforts, and enhance Software Product Line Engineering (SPLE) initiatives

·         Direct the department’s strategic direction, development, and future growth particularly regarding current and new technologies

·         Work consultatively with other department heads as an advisor of technologies that may improve efficiency and/or effectiveness

·         Provide leadership and guidance to department heads in a fashion to enable departmental mission, vision, and initiatives

·         Contribute new techniques and processes to implement latest trends in technology to promote innovation

·         Conduct research, analysis, and case studies on leading edge technologies and makes determinations on the value and feasibility of implementation

·         Review and help develop technical implementation plans and provides feedback and guidance

·         Provide leadership and assistance regarding cryptographic implementations, vulnerability assessments, penetrations testing, and technical security plans

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

·         Bachelor’s degree in technology-related studies or equivalent experience

·         Minimum 5 years’ experience including:

o   Significant hands-on product development and/or IT experience

o   Demonstrated leadership capabilities

o   Experience with a wide range of technologies

o   Experience with developing proposals and briefing senior leaders

·         Licenses/Certifications in either CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, CISM/A, CCNP, MCSD/E or related

 

Desired skills:

·         Embedded firmware, various operating systems, desktop application, web, and/or cloud technologies
