Enterprise Project Manager

Omaha, NE

 

Direct hire - Candidates must be eligible to work in the US on a W2 basis without sponsorship or visa transfer

 

The primary responsibility of this position is to direct large-sized strategic projects and mitigate risk across the Enterprise entities.  Responsibilities include leading a variety of process and systems-related projects, working closely with varying internal departments  on projects and creating reports for Senior Management.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements detailed project plans, including new products, conversion/integration, merger projects and other projects as assigned
  • Manages the planning, documenting, testing, and executing, along with tasks, timelines, and project team members to successfully complete projects
  • Manages projects from original concept through final implementation and post-project assessment
  • Accountable for meeting project objectives within established timeframes
  • Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Partners with project team members to assign tasks, direct activities, and control project execution
  • Builds, develops, and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Lend leadership and guidance to PMO development initiatives and to the infusion of modern project management tools
  • Provide project leadership to team members that includes training, scheduling and assigning work
  • Manage project issues and ensure that business requirements, process models, and functional specifications are gathered
  • Facilitate the completion of project charters, project meetings, distribute meeting minutes, and prepare status reports
  • Gather business requirements from users
  • Perform project analysis
  • Research industry-related efforts
  • Perform ad hoc issue resolution
  • Facilitate quality improvement groups: Make recommendations on processes and process improvements

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years Project Management experience
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Ability to collect and analyze complex data, evaluate information and systems and draw logical conclusions
  • Ability to plan, organize, monitor and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives
  • Ability to influence others in a professional setting
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks in pressure situations in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to resolve problems and make rule-based decisions
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Experience with highly complex business plan management across multiple divisions
  • Skill in effective project leadership, training, and group facilitation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and, interpersonal skills
