QA Process, Data and Change Management SME/LEAD

CSS Staffing has an open position with our direct client for a QA Subject Matter Expert and Lead qualitied to advise and implement on product solutions in one or more of the following Quality Assurance areas: testing change management, measurement and reporting.  This person implements initiatives and processes that create measurable efficiencies in the Business Technology areas of testing, change management, measurement and reporting.  Areas of accountability may include test data management, automated and manual testing processes, testing environments, key performance indicators, process auditing, software change management and pre-production preparation.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

 

·         Subject matter expert in one or more areas: data management, change management, automated testing or other process improvement solutions, such as Optim test data management, CA – Software Change Manager, and Rational Functional and Performance Tester.

 

·         Collaborates on the implementation efforts and expanded usage of test data management, change management, automated testing and other process improvement solutions, as appropriate.

 

·         Collaborates within the Business Technology division and across business divisions to determine best practices and process improvements in testing, test data management and software change management.  Coordinates and drives related implementation efforts.

 

·         Defines and implements automated measurement and metric calculations and illustrations of measures such as key performance indicators, productivity and process audits.

 

·         Recommends process improvements and/or tools, as appropriate.

 

·         Shares knowledge with other staff in the effective and appropriate use of testing, test data and change management, automated measurement and metric calculation processes and tools.

 

·         Solid background in quality assurance methodologies including deploying innovative solutions that improve testing efficiencies.

 

·         Experience with test plan and test case development and/or automated testing, software and/or process development experience

 

·         Experience with Optim, CA-SCM, Rational testing tools and/or DB2 or SQL Server.

 

·         Experience leading teams or managing projects.

 

·         Data center experience, including JCL and automated scheduling tool
