 Project Manager

Omaha, NE

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations
  • Responsible for assembling project plans and team work assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately
  • Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers
  • Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed
  • Assists Program Manager(s) in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise
  • Provide input to Manager’s planning to enhance work group/team effectiveness
  • Identify opportunities and provide input to the enhancement of technology/systems/policy/procedure, etc.
  • Develop and maintain a set of metrics that define and enable tracking and reporting of work group and individual performance
  • Develop and submit updated staffing plans to advise Manager on the staffing levels required to efficiently and effectively support growth
  • Prepare annual budget proposals
  • Monitor and develop reporting with regard to budgetary adherence and variances
  • Understand and comply with client’s policy, laws & regulations as applicable to your job duties
  • Complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls, as required
  • Report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations
  • Report any suspicious customer and/or account activity


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field. OR equivalent work experience
  • 7-10 years of IT work experience
  • 4 or more years managing projects
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions

  • Assignment Length: 10 month contract
