Sr. ERP Business Analyst

Omaha, NE

 

CSS Staffing has an immediate opening with our client for a Sr. Business Analyst with ERP experience.  The ideal candidate will have background with CRM or Supply Chain, Inventory Management and Procurement.  This person will work closely with the Business Team to ensure all ERP vendor application requirements are gathered and documented, play the role of liaison between the Business Process Leads (BPLs) /SMEs and the ERP Vendor to interpret current business processes and ensure application consistency.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document requirements for Business Processes, Rules and Validation.
  • Validate that all appropriate Business Processes, Requirements and Rules have been gathered and addressed in the to-be process flows and ERP application configuration.
  • Work closely with Business Process Leads and Subject Matter Experts to ensure they are prioritized and executed effectively in the ERP application.
  • Collect Basic Data for ERP application setup.
  • Review the Basic Data needs for the assigned ERP application functional areas (e.g. Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Procurement, Field Services, Human Resources, Case Management, Projects, Accounting, Finance, CRM, etc.) and prepare a plan to work with the business to gather requirements and determine naming conventions, ongoing maintenance, etc., for the basic data elements.
  • Work with Business BAs to ensure all business reporting needs have been gathered and logged along with report samples and detailed report requirements.
  • Work with designated Business SMEs/BPLs to prioritize reports for day 1, day 30, 90, 365 to ensure development is completed appropriately and when needed in relation to ERP Implementation.
  • Provide direction to training and testing teams to ensure appropriate coverage of business scenarios/transactions and processing in the Test Cases and Training Materials developed, etc.

 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively complete multiple concurrent assignments, prioritize work and execute effective time management to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Experience in business analysis with extensive experience with MS Office and Visio.
  • Strong initiative; a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to work closely with business resources to collaborate on potential solution options, but willing to accept final decisions from Business Process Leaders.
  • Ability to complete business workflow analysis and document process/business function workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively complete assignments independently or as a part of a team (both technical and non-technical team-members).
  • Experience working in a project management environment with related processes and tools.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and flexible to changing priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communications, human relations skills, facilitation and presentation skills.
