 Compliance Analyst – LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

CSS Staffing has an open position with our direct client for a Compliance Analyst – LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY in Austin, TX. Under direct supervision of client's Compliance Operations Team, this individual will work with a team of analysts responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance, production, and development of client's Compliance Program. This position will require the candidate to conduct investigations relative to watch list screening, while documenting findings and sources. 

 

Core Responsibilities:

         Reviewing watch list screening alerts, researching watch list entities while compiling and documenting findings from multiple sources

         Have an awareness of regulatory requirements including OFAC and global watch lists

         Complete basic research, analysis, and reporting of compliance activities

         Ability to work independently with direction from leadership or senior analysts

         Handle routine problem solving and issues resolution with guidance from more senior staff 

 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with focus in business, accounting or finance 
  • 1-2 years of sanction regulations, watch list screening or BSA/AML experience required
  • Strong organizational skills and intense focus on detail 
  • Strong research and analytical skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional telephone manner 
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Word, Excel, and database applications 
  • Team player and comfortable working with deadlines 
  • Work effectively, independently and make deadlines
